Letter [manuscript]. 1817.

A letter in Tahitian by the Tahitian Chief Pomare II to a London Missionary Society missionary-printer, during the first year of printing in the Pacific Island. Pomare had pulled the first sheets from the press at Eimeo on 30 June 1817. The letter was probably written to Rev. William Ellis.
